- We built Caustic as a concept-stage Facade Solar-Convergence Firewall. It ray-traces a FacadeSpec across a defined solar sweep, records peak concentration, focal surface temperature, and focal dwell, then exposes the basis for its verdict.

- When geometry does not support a single curvature radius, Caustic does not invent a focal number. It returns ESCALATE and routes the freeform case to full optical simulation and specialist review.
